Broadband - Your recommendations?

Recommended Posts

I know people have had issues with TalkTalk but they have been faultless with my landline and broadband connection. I can only speak from personal experience and would recommend them to anyone. A couple of years ago the router packed in ... I rang them and within two days a new one arrived by courier, no charge!!! I have an additional BT business line into my house paid for by my employer, the Talk Talk broadband is actually faster than the company BT business broadband line, whats that all about?

Well we tried Virgin, but couldn't get Fibre optic or TV since we're in a "non-cable zone".. So we're contemplating getting Sky. I would love to hear what the deals are and prices from fellow Sheffield members.

I realise I'm coming to this quite late, but you CAN get phone and TV as well as superfast fibre broadband from littlebigone.com! Try your postcode on our website http://www.littlebigone.com and see the amazing speeds you could be getting!

Now that's more like it, something that Origin don't offer and not a bad price either.

We offer exactly the same service. And our packages start at £17.50 per month for unlimited fibre broadband.

I was not aware Origin had actually launched their TV service. Ironic as I think you were the first ISP on Digital Region to officially announce you were going to offer it.

Hmmm

"The IPTV solutions we looked into were a bit rubbish for content so we chose not to go for them."

Just to reiterate, littlebigone.com is the only ISP on the DR network (or in the UK come to that) offering a complete independent IPTV service. Whilst we're not offering Sky channels at the moment, we are in ongoing negotiations and expect to go live with at least Sky Sports and Movies before the end of this year. In the meantime, we have 2 packages plus a recording option.

The trouble with Origin is that it has not got a phone package included and to add one makes it expensive.

Our phone package includes FREE UK ANYTIME CALLS (excludes mobiles and premium rate, obviously) and can be added to any broadband package for line rental only - £13.00 per month. Give us a call or go to http://www.littlebigone.com/services/phone/

Apologies, we offer the exact same superfast digtal region broadband services from £17.50pm. With the money you save, you could buy a freeview+ box :-)
