Yep has been around for a couple of seasons, but the scammers may have picked up on the new genuine letters sent out to shareholders this past week, and seen it as a great time to renew the scam. TAT
THEN again there are a lot of mugs falling for financial scams, all in the hope of making a quick buck. United have warned fans of the club many times re this particular scam, But it seems to me there are many easier scams outside football. United have the one major shareholder then a "small" number of lesser shareholders, these are usually fans with a few hundred shares, bought more through loyalty than the hope of financial gain . Seems the scamers have not done there home work, on the number of shareholders targeted or the amount of potential financial gain linked to the scam. ptrA
Looks like its started again. I received a phone call yesterday from USA, offering £8 to £17 per share. Of course we would all sell at that.
