Funky_Gibbon
Ah I see. And you get a phone as well? (Obviously, but is it a decent one?) I just saw that offer in Meadowhall early this evening. It's a 24 month contract for a Samsung Galaxy Y and a 16gb Nexus 7 for £20 a month. Cyclone
Going back to the topic, my OH was so impressed with my nexus (kidnapped it) that she's now bought her own.
Waldo
Imagine they're pretty popular. Loads of people (mostly devs) I know have one now.
chinaski
Just taken possession of the Nexus 7 and extremely impressed - miles away from the cheap 7" tab I've been using. Have had it 2 days now, however, and there appears to be a glitch. Sometimes it appears to be getting stuck while booting, so the coloured star stays on the screen and nothing comes after. I hold down the power button for 10 secs and it reloads, sometimes the same thing happens and other times it will boot successfully. Is this familiar to anyone? Can you take the battery out of these tabs? NB - If anyone is thinking of purchasing there's still a valid £20 off code for Tesco for the 16gb version. Cyclone
Haven't had that problem, so it sounds like there is something wrong...
chinaski
Haven't had that problem, so it sounds like there is something wrong... Unbelievable. As you say, I suspected all wasn't right so took it back and they exchanged it no problem. The new one boots up fine, but it won't connect to wi-fi! I'm surprised, I thought these tabs were well made. Back again . . .
