IPad or Nexus 7

I am using "Google Apps" for my Email, meaning that I have mx records setup so Emails received on my domain are routed to Google's Email servers. You have for example, me@mydomain.com and you can access it though the Gmail web interface, and on most mobile devices as Gmail (without the gmail.com domain).

That's exactly what I said I do.

My company domain (email and web) are routed to google.

I can access my email on my phone.

But now I think about it, I don't actually log in to the company domain, it's set to automatically forward my email to my personal account, which is what I have logged into.

I've probably never tried to login directly to the company domain on the phone as I've no need.

Hi Cyclone, you can access your mail on loads of mobile devices, and if you use imap it all syncs up nicely. Managed to get it all working on the Nexus, via the Gmail app. Was no need to upgrade my Google apps account in the end.

One really naff thing about the Nexus 7 (well, really Android in general), is if you're using Google Apps for Email; you can't get access your Email (or any Google services on your google apps account domain) on an android device without upgrading your Google Apps account to 'business' (which means forking out £££ each month).

I use Google apps for my littlegreengeek email and it comes through to my phone no problem. I've not paid for a business account.

Seems to work for me know. After the following steps:

1. Installed 'Device Policy' from Google, on my Android phone.

2. Ticked the check-box associated with the device, in my Google Apps control panel > Settings > Devices.

I just put my email address and password in as a google account and it just works.

Still waiting for currys to tell me they have it in stock (got a discount from them, otherwise I wouldn't buy things there).

For a Nexus 7?

If you get one from Google, you're supposed to get £15 of credit to spend on the Google Play AppStore. I'm still waiting for mine...
