STANNINGTON CARNIVAL ~ 22ND SEPTEMBER 2012

The 2012 Carnival has been re-scheduled for Saturday 22nd September. Held in Stannington Park - for sat nav, the post code is S6 6DP, they are expecting a huge number of visitors. hi i will try to visit your festival as a person who knows how hard it is to run

a festival and admire all that try and a member of the independant festival

organisation,did you know that the sheffield council limit for stalls is 100

and we got a unannouced on the day visit resulting a warning,so we put

some outside the park on a separate licence this year but trust me they

are looking at all festivals unless you get a £350 market licence,if you

have a new way round it i would like to know because they have really

have warned us good style anyway good luck bassett one:):)

Hi there, if you have an "UNUSUAL CRAFT" or offer "SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO THE NORM" I would love to hear from you as we have a handful of pitches available at our Stannington Carnival, which is due to be held on Saturday 22nd September 2012. This isn't a car boot sale or just a craft fair, this is a BIG EVENT, in its 21st year that attracts between 3,500 to 5,000 visitors. HI SORRY ABOUT CANCELATION this stall thing needs sorting as festivals

organisations we work hard most no pay but for some reason they have this

silly rule about 100 stalls as we are not a regular market why cant there

be a rule for annual festivals because i am sure many small businesses

miss out ,cant have extra for car boot we are not businesses,let alone

the many charitys that need our events to keep them afloat through the

winter months ,i will bring this up at the independent festival meetings

did you know its illegal to advertise your festival before buying a license

we get one for the tennants hall outside the park gates for 30 then use

the friends of the park for the second license thats legal as they are

separate sorry no card stalls but i am sure you will find 2 all the best
