charliewag
it's o.k for someone learning to fish as it's stuffed with all kinds of fish. fish a maggot shallow close in for a fish a chuck or pellet/corn/ meat on the deck for a slightly better stamp of fish. charliewag
it's at dungworth, up from stannington. it's a bit bleak up there so pick a fine day (when we get one!). fish the car park side with the wind behind you as it's more comfortable fishing. ChrisT70
what sort of stamp of fish can you get if you fish on the deck with bigger baits? also what type of fish will you get? not bothered about getting bitted out with smaller stuff tbh. have been fishing up at norwood and clearwater, looking for another localish venue thats got quality mixed fishing, rather than just/mainly carp. ChrisT70
http://www.cowgapfarmfishery.co.uk/aboutus.html nice one. going to take a run up looks like it could be a bit exposed and windy but if and when we get a summer!.....
craigs
Theres some nice fish in cowgap but getting through to them can be difficult cos its that stuffed with tiny fish which are a nuisance. The owner needs to implement a netting regime to remove the smaller fish, obv he could sell them on for profit and either pocket the money or reinvest it in larger fish
charliewag
larger baits such as meat tend to lead to a better stamp of fish. there used to be some big bream in but they've not been seen for a while.
