Wanted: -Heras Fencing.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have recently taken possession of an allotment and am wanting to buy some Heras or Heras type fencing allowing me to have chickens that can have a large pen to scrat about in.

If anyone has any for sale or knows who sells used panels, (and can for a fee deliver) please PM me, I am after 8 -10.

Thanks for looking.

Keith.

Hi Keith. Did you ever find any heras fencing in Sheffield? We're after some too.

Sounds like everyone is quick to judge you here...

We are advising not judging, there is a big difference. I would like someone to advise me rather than let me find out the hard way. I have made mistakes so I'm speaking from experience. :|

Hi Time Out.

Yes i managed to get some panels, (from Ebay). and have constructed a 15foot x 11 foot enclosure for four chickens.

The panels were sunk into the ground with concrete slabs placed around so a fox would have to dig from 2 foot out to have any chanceof getting in. It also has Heras panels for the roof and all is secured further by chicken wire tie wrapped to the heras fencing, (to combat Rats?).

I saw the replies given and after sucking the Eggs i thought it better to keep my own counsel, obviously Eckolad though he was directing his advise to a four year old?.

If i had some spare i would glady give them to you, good luck with the search.

Keith

Hi Keith,

Many thanks for your reply. I think we'll have to go with ordering some too as we've now been searching for weeks. Heras fencing is perfect for chickens, you'll be pleased you've got it :-)

On another note, it's wonderful to hear about someone with a nice large run for their chickens. So many keep them in cramped dingey ark-style runs. You have some very lucky girls.

Fancy a cockerel? lol

Kind regards,

Dani
