There's that much activity in the city centre at 4am that Devonshire Chippy is still open. I've seen more people at that time on Division Street that I have at 9am. Most of them though look too far gone to stick a fork in a chip than a knife in a fellow human.

rare? affraid not, violence happens every day throughout the UK from fist fights 2 stabbings an gun incidents. I once read that around 70 people are stabbed a day in UK. Its not South Central LA & probably never will be that bad anywhere over here but violence is not a rare thing to happen, I have known people with scars from blades, fist fights & even bullets.

It was closed from 6am till about 1pm.you couldn't even visit Lloyds for a pint. Hope the guys ok heard they were opperating on him.
