TAT Â Â 10 #30 Posted June 28, 2012 Sorted Brighton away out tn8 in the middle of September, now that is happy day's !!! Â Did a mid week over night in Brighton many years ago , think we played em on a tuesday, and Yorkshire were at hove on the Wednesday. Â Made a mistake of booking a twin room, we got some funny looks at breakfast was very nieve in those days. Â Again a good few years ago, Uniteds bassett team were stars of a friday night docu-soap, each week the crew targeted a different aspect of the football club, I kept in touch even back then with many exiled Blades and had the task of getting together a room full of exiles to be features on the programme, the tv crew booked on our say so the hove cricket club (we knew it had real ale on ) and filming was booked for a Friday night pre Saturdays game. Â Well it was all sorted but called off as United were on a cup run, we played little old Man Utd at home and won 2-1 Â With our momment of fame was crushed, the production team just moved on to another theme. gluedtopc   10 #32 Posted June 28, 2012 The close season was bound to bring a quieter forum, but the gloating (understandable) Owls are in full voice and here in numbers, We Blades are on a downer (understandabe) but the lack of Blades on here is noticable. One or two of us Blades are left to fight our corner:) drowned out by the Owls pack and their newbies  Holidays or not its about time a few more Blades came back!  Take it all on the chin lads, come back , stand up and be counted.   Silly posts on transfer embargos and classic numpty comments like biggest club outside the premiership :) need some debate.  When i comment the pack call it stalking:) needs some fresh posters to debate and be a little more reasoned:)  Are you Delia in disguise?
