lolageorge   10 #1 Posted June 8, 2012 Hi,  Myself and my mum both suffer from hyper mobility in our joints. I'm am currently recovering from SLAP tear repair (shoulder surgery so torn bicep and cartilidge) and my mum has a frozen shoulder. Hers is sooo bad she cannot lift her arm and has had to give up work as a hairdresser. After doing lots of research on what may help recover and alleviate pain we have decided a deep muscle massage and tigger point massage may be worth a go? If anyone has any recommendations we would greatly appreciate it. Many thanks in advance.
 Share this content via...
pinklola   10 #2 Posted June 10, 2012 I can't say I have personally been but I know at S1 chiropratic there is a person who does that type of massage-  http://rtsmassage.webstarts.com/
 Share this content via...
Jess22 Â Â 10 #3 Posted June 11, 2012 Can't help with the massage but my step mum has had great benefit from a few sessions of Amatsu following months of pain and mobility with a frozen shoulder so maybe you should look into that? sun-glow   10 #4 Posted June 11, 2012 My friend had acupuncture with an Chinese practioner in Woodseats (opposite The Big Tree pub,but not sure). He does Deep Muscle Massage as well.  The acupuncte points are said to be trigger points, so Chinese man should be a good choice,I think. pattricia   574 #5 Posted June 11, 2012 I had a frozen shoulder some years ago and it was extremely painful. Anti-inflammatory drugs worked for me, but if I ever got it again, I would try acupuncture instead.
 Share this content via...
