classicfan   15 #28 Posted January 11, 2013 I remember 3 people who I think worked at Orgreave George Winspear - in the 1940's/1950's, may have been part of ther management - lived between Swallownest and Aughton George Percival - in the 1950's may have worked on the pit top as some sort of a labourer. Lived on Park Hill, between Swallownest and Fence. Was invloved a lot with Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Club Kenneth Brooks, my uncle, in 1940's/1950's before he became a bus driver. Lived on Ballifield Estate  Maybe someone will remember these guys  Grey Eminence - Subang Jaya - Malaysia  George Percival transferred down to Fence Workshops for many years.
