Anyone know a pub which makes homemade chips

Recommended Posts

You mean re cooked shirley?

Double fried.

Theyll be gently fried quickly = not enough to be cooked, let to cool and then fried again before serving..

Unless you use Heston Blumenthals recipe which calls for them to be par boiled, cooled, then gently fried, cooled and then fried again before serving...

BTW the Rutland is still open and if interested they serve food mon-sat from 12-9pm

We were there a few weeks ago and the chips were a let down, they weren't home made.

the Rutland does (not far from train station just beyond the showroom cinema)

Yep, I'd second that! Was finally introduced to "The Sultty Rutty Butty" the other week.

Does anyone else other than me put Hendo's on their chips?
