Just me, or is the Queen not even there? :|

 

I don't think she is? she's not missing much though so far,even Annie Lennox was awful and i usually like her. Is that just me?

I've turned it off now, they said on the news just before it started, Phillip wouldn't be attending obviously, but the Queen definitely would - The grand finale is supposed to be her lighting the 'amazing' beacon!

Thankfully, cycling was on Eurosport, so I could see Wiggins taker the yellow jersey in The Crieterium du Dauphine. :)

Well i did think it improved as it went on with the appearence of the opera and and the great Stevie Wonder sounding just as good,..but oh Annie Lennox in those angel wings,and what on earth was Cheryl Cole doing on it??

The Military band were great too.

:hihi: I heard someone else mention something about Elton's teeth.

 

One last criticism .Too many unfunny comedians introducing the artists,instead of one compere.

The future Sir Garry Barlow who organised the event got some things wrong.

I was disappointed in that Macca didn't get together with Stevie Wonder to sing Ebony and Ivory which would have been a first.
