MC Spyda
A four month old baby will produce very little waste. At least, very little biodegradeable waste. The parents however.... Not pedantic at all...
medusa
Not pedantic at all... It's still a choice that the parents make that is producing all of the waste. If the parents chose to use reusable nappies rather than disposables then they would put a huge amount less non biodegradable waste in their bin. Every single one of us could go forever without using their bin even once if we wanted to.

And maybe we should all try to use them less. Without making petty excuses.
MC Spyda
No. Just the truth. I know it's the truth, but you must have the lowest of low opinions of me if you think I was actually sat here believing that it's the baby that produces the waste that goes in the bin. Some things really go without saying.

Some things really go without saying. Not really MC. I have a high opinion of you, as I think you know. It is really easy to blame our waste generation on external factors, however, it is my belief that we could all reduce the amount that we put into the black bins. It's probably not something that will happen though unless there are major changes to bin collections. Most people simply do not care, so being 'forced' to care is the only real solution. rapido
We don't really have choice where we live. We live in a flat above a shop on a busy main Road and have had 4 wheelie bins nicked or 'moved'. It's just a case of take the rubbish out and find a bin
