Using other peoples bins..

Not pedantic at all...

 

It's still a choice that the parents make that is producing all of the waste. If the parents chose to use reusable nappies rather than disposables then they would put a huge amount less non biodegradable waste in their bin.

Indeed, but that was not the point I was making. Every single one of us could go forever without using their bin even once if we wanted to.

No. Just the truth.

 

I know it's the truth, but you must have the lowest of low opinions of me if you think I was actually sat here believing that it's the baby that produces the waste that goes in the bin. Some things really go without saying.

Not really MC. I have a high opinion of you, as I think you know.

 

It is really easy to blame our waste generation on external factors, however, it is my belief that we could all reduce the amount that we put into the black bins.

You're right, I agree with this. It's probably not something that will happen though unless there are major changes to bin collections. Most people simply do not care, so being 'forced' to care is the only real solution.
