Kitchen Fitting/Design/Recommendations Megathread. No Quotes Or actual Jobs

Recommended Posts

Sheffield kitchen outlet are excellant, have a trip down to thier showroom, no hassle,no hard sell no problems. I fit many of their kitchen and in my opinion they are the best value for money kitchens in Sheffield and the surounding area. Ive worked for a few other outfits and believe me there is some bloody rubbish out there.Don't go to B&Q, Wickes, Homebase, Wren, Howdens you will regret it.

Just avoid a company called Space Kitchens, we were unfortunate enough to use them a few years ago, their work was shoddy and dangerous. So be warned.

Has anyone used Betta Living recently we are after a Kitchen and they are offering 4 years interest free credit, seen old reports on here that showed them in a bad light, just wondered if they have changed.

Cheers

There's no such thing as interest free credit, the charges for finance are loaded onto the price at the start,

They came to give us a price and were quite expensive, even after they'd taken discount off for this, that and the other. The salesman also started to get quite aggressive when we wouldn't sign a deal there and then, despite being told their price was above our budget and we had arranged for other companies to come and give us a price. In the end I had to be quite forceful and tell him to leave.

Just wondering if anyone has used Sharrow Vale Kitchens and Bedrooms for fitted wardrobes? Am impressed so far by their design service, but would like to make sure they are OK before going ahead.

Thank you

I'm thinking of buying a kitchen from Wren in sheffield. Should I get them to fit it or employ my own fitter? Any thoughts or experiences anyone?

I've always found that find a reliable recommended Joiner from somewhere like SheffieldForum is better than using the Joiners that are provided by the retailer. It works out cheaper and better quality.
