dongle   10 #193 Posted February 22, 2016 We are thinking about buying a new kitchen at home but then come across websites that offer new worktops and doors. Our old kitchen it's self is still in good order so was thinking this may be a good option. Any body done this before? If so where do we go about sourcing the materials. And are they easy to fit yourself? Thanks  Hi, we supply and supply and fit new doors and worktops, we have a range of vinyl Gloss vinyl, acrylic and solid wood doors.  http://www.nankivells.com
 Share this content via...
Gleadly   11 #194 Posted February 28, 2016 We've just had a quote from Betta Living( Next).  The guy was extremely helpful, gave some good advice and not pushy at all. We were advised by Next that the guy, who happened to be the manager, would take about 3 hours.  Thanks to my wife, he did take a little longer.  Was not happy about the initial quote, but managed to negotiate a decent discount.  Has anyone had a Betta kitchen installed? sheff21   10 #195 Posted March 3, 2016 Question to anyone who can give a approx cost.  A kitchen is normally 8 units. Well we have been given a quote for 11 units, plaster work done, new electric sockets added, a new extractor and chimney a new hob. Two of the units are corner units, new sink and taps. including the handles etc. less than 6,500 is that a good price?. Its not ex showroom and not flat pack. Real granite worktop and soft closing doors and draws.  Also ripping the old kitchen out as well. By the way most of the units are double. soliod wood  Thanks
 Share this content via...

Gleadly   11 #197 Posted March 3, 2016 If you're having a granite worktop then it doesn't seem bad. Are you having new appliances or are they re-fitting your existing ones?  Are they taking old units away?
 Share this content via...
sheff21 Â Â 10 #198 Posted March 3, 2016 Well our oven is brand new almost, and the washing machine is new, so getting a new ceramic hob and extractor above the hob with the pretend look chimney as they do. Â The worktops are wider than the ones in now, and they are stipping everything out including re plaster the walls and move and add new electric sockets etc. Â Just wanted to know if thats a average price or below average etc. and the fact getting a lot more storage than the 8 units that companies normally quote for. d71146 Â Â 10 #201 Posted March 8, 2016 Hi I can recommend JEFF the joiner (jsmith2009) on SF. Jeff is a first class tradesman who has installed me a new kitchen a couple of years ago plus new bathroom and is a clean and tidy worker he also has at his disposal all supplementary trades to do things he doesn't specialise in, and is a genuine likeable bloke so I would recommend him. Cline   10 #202 Posted August 28, 2016 Has anyone used the Rotherham branch of Wren kitchens? Debating ordering kitchen from there. We know there's bad history with incomplete deliveries and installation nationally but wondered if local situation might be different. (Will be looking for fitter independently in any case.) Amazonmulu   10 #203 Posted September 1, 2016 Does anyone have any recommendations and an idea of how much it would cost to have kitchen cabinet doors/ends painted, new handles, tiles removed / walls made good, new granite work tops and splashbacks.  We've moved to a new house and can't afford a whole new kitchen but not sure I can live with the really dated one ?  Thanks! geared   302 #204 Posted September 1, 2016 How long's a piece of string, you'd need a few trades people to come out and quote on the job really.
 Share this content via...
