Does anyone know if Plusnet are recruiting for their call centre?

Topic.

Following a discussion with someone on here last week, I've decided to try and apply for call centre work, perhaps on a 3 month contract basis to see if I like the job and the job likes me, the closest local place that I think I'd suit is the Plusnet place behind West St but I've looked on their website and there's nothing about recruitment.

Does anyone know if they're recruiting at the moment? And if they are what are they like on equal opportunities?

I'm also considering contacting the Dixons call centre at Nunnery Square as that's easy to get to as well for me.

If anyone can help feel free to post on here or I have space in my inbox for PMs.

Really Rich? You do know their call centre is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year?

I went for an interview there a couple of years ago and they want you to be uber flexible. Shift work, bank holidays, weekends, christmas. In some ways I was glad I didn't get it because doing overnighters in there didn't really appeal. They seem like a decent company to work for but the hours they want from staff are quite a lot.

Hi there.

we are currently recruiting a telesales/customer service agent for a small team based in sheffield city centre.

we are a dynamic training company specialising in adult learning. The role os basically calling existing service users and following up warm leads, with a view to getting them booked on one of our courses.

Hours of work are mon-fri 8.30-5.30 working one saturday in 4.

We are hoping to recruit quite quickly due to the growth of the business.

You can always apply on their website:

http://careers.plus.net/category/opportunities-at-plusnet/

Theres currently tech adviser roles available at the moment (part time and full time)

It never hurts to apply

Thanks for that, might be worth a punt, I have no call centre experience but I do know my way round a PC fairly well.

No problems...

If the no experience bit is holding you back, worth looking at an agency for temp work here and there to build up your skill set, a lot of places dont care how much experience you have with the phones, they just want to see if you can do it. 6 weeks on a temp role can help you out loads.

PS good luck :)

Just been talking to people on Facebook, and they've suggested somewhere called Voice up Woodseats, does anyone have a link to their website or know their phone number/email address?
