Travelling To America After Being To Cuba

This thread here might be of some help:

It says it shouldnt be an issue as they dont stamp passports in Cuba:

The only effect the US restrictions will have is that you will not be able to bring Cuban products into the US. Entry to the US is always discretionary but I have not read any accounts of foreign visitors being denied entry into the US simply because they travelled to Cuba. One regular poster--Beardo UK--lives in Cuba and travels to the US periodically without problems.

&

Cuba does not stamp passports so there's no record of your travels there, however if you do ASK, Cuba will stamp your passport for you. I've asked and do have Cuban stamps in my passport, and have had US Immigration Agents see those stamps when I enter the States and that still wasn't a problem.

My son and his pal are going to a wedding in Las Vegas mid-June and have planned to visit lots of other places whilst over there. They are flying from the UK to Cuba first, and he told me that they can only enter the US via the Bahamas, or via Canada, (or maybe Mexico).

This is correct as there are no direct flights, for tourists, from the United States

Las Vegas and Cuba WOW !!

Both ends of the spectrum, vulgar casino capitalism and a paradise that is the most literate country on earth with a brilliant health system and produced a modern day Saint in Che Guevara

Cuba doesn't have a health system at all. It just steals patents from other countries that do have one.

A paradise you say? Back in the day when aircraft hijackers took crew and passengers hostage and demanded a flight to Cuba these hijackers were given asylum in Cuba and put to work in the sugar cane fields. Fidel did not subscribe to idle hands living off the state.

Now Sheffield on the other hand...........:hihi:

maybe I'm naive but I thought the Obama administration had relaxed this sort of thing from previously. I think the Americans now know that there are plenty of gullible Europeans and Canadians that not only bought into the fantasy of the Cuban communist utopia, but also naively went on Cuba package holidays, only to find bad food, bad service, and high prices.
