Is the rat sneezing a lot? More than one sneeze every minute or so? If so, you should to take it to a vet to get antibiotics.

Some sneezing in rats is normal but if it becomes excessive, it could mean a problem.

Listen to it's breathing and if it sounds labored or seems to be making a rattling noise then you will probably need to see a vet.

I'd just keep an eye on it for now. But if it gets any worse, you should take it to a vet as it could possibly be the start of a respiratory infection and will need antibiotics.

What bedding are you currently using for the rat? They have very sensitive respiratory systems. So it could just be the bedding thats making the rat sneeze.

When i say 'bedding' i actually mean the stuff you use to cover the base of the cage?

Sawdust, for instance, is no good for rats.
