Been having connectivity problems usually in the AM... had a guy at virgin access the pc and fiddle about with the web settings and sorted it out. for about 2 weeks.. now its started again

mines working fine - in fact I've been getting the full bandwidth according to the speedtest - which is a bit of a shock

I have had a simular problem i rang virgin and got a new router off them "touch wood" its been ok since.

Oh no, im having virgin fitted next Tuesday, hope im not going from bad to worse. I am with sky at the moment and getting less than 1 meg so thought that i had made the right decision in changing.

I have been with Virgin years and no problems, im in S5 and I know they are upgrading the broadband in this area in June, so could be the upgrade causing few problems xx Virgin media is not faultless but huge improvement to sky, you made right decision x

I can only talk about my experiances i had sky broadband i live in s5 I got around 4 gig pretty much all the time, However i swaped to virgin around a year ago on there 30 meg package i get between 31 and 32 gig all the time.

 

The problem i had started around 2 months ago and got worse like said previously i rung virgin, Got a new router and it solved the problem (touch wood).

Thank you, i hope i have made the right decision. I have been told i can get up to 60megs here (not saying i will need it for a laptop and ps3) but its certainly a big improvement on what im getting right now. x
