All the major supermarkets in Sheffield have a selection of pre-packed strawberries you can gp and pick a pack from.:hihi:

They won't be ready until July ish, especially after all this horrible weather, I went at the end of June last year (the one near hotel van dyk) and they were still green mostly!

I know this thread is over a week old now. But I just wanted to say, don't wait until august because the strawberries left at that time are for jams usually.

 

The usual 'season' for them is June, but because of the past 2 years horrible weather it's been in July. So I'd try mid July first.
