Di Matteo fancies Sheffield United job

Roberto Di Matteo wants to resurrect his managerial reputation at Sheffield United.

The Italian was axed by Premier League West Brom three months ago, having taken them up from the Championship in the previous campaign.

Di Matteo is now prepared to drop down into League One to get his career back on track.

The Blades are hunting a high-profile boss to guide them straight back to the Championship having axed Micky Adams.
