no they're not, there has never even been a whisper that the y were palestinian for god's sake - they might be iranian, doing a revenge job for the US downing of their airliner, that was the presumption at the time and it remains plausible

very intersting mate, thanks - perhaps I had a knee jerk reaction to the palestinians being blamed yet again.

 

I'll look firther into it and download the paul foot article if still available.
