Hi everyone,

 

 

Where can I learn to play snooker??

 

I want to be taught the basics.

 

Can you pay to have lessons????

Im 28 years old, male and used to play pool for fun.

Not sure you can have lessions TBH, not in the same way you can have golf lessons. I would imagine the way to find out is phone up a few snooker clubs and ask. Perhaps you mean learn the rules rather than the skills? The rules will be on the Internet somewhere but I'm afraid the skill will only come with practice, though books and the Internet should give you a few pointers.

There is a difference in stance. Pool is ordinarily played by people who stand upright.

 

Snooker requires a bit more flexibility.

 

If you want to learn how to play snooker, you will have to learn how to bend over.
