SWFC Civic Reception

Recommended Posts

The way the majority of Blades fans have reacted since Wednesday have gone up is embarrassing and desperate

United still have a good chance of going up you know...

The reception was a damp squid to be fair.

7,000 are these the same numbers Scottie uses on the enterprise ?

Surely a club of this stature would attract more?

I thought it humerous that some fans have not been to a match all season but turned up in town:loopy:

You keep churning out the massive rhubarb and we will destroy it :)

I don't expect many if we get promoted either.

IT MIGHT have been a rainy evening in Sheffield city centre, but the party atmosphere had all the feel of a carnival in downtown Rio.:hihi::hihi::hihi:

Obviously this writer has NEVER been to Rio :hihi::hihi:

Yeah Rio and Sheffield......nah! :hihi:

".... a rainy evening in Sheffield city centre.....", well at least we know whose side the good lord is on! :hihi:

I have to say Sidey, the last few days is the most you have been on here in ages mate! Then again, after all the years it has taken to finish one place above the Blades, I guess you have to make the most of it :hihi:

Don't see how you can destroy something which is a tongue in cheek micky - take intended to wind up and otherwise get blades to bite on. Oh you bit! :hihi:

It's the longest I've been on without a ban.

The Gods/Mods must be smiling on me!!!

Got to admit, having a Civic reception for coming 2nd in the 3rd division is bit much. We've set a precedent now. What if we win the European Cup in a couple of years time? We'll have to have an open-top World Tour.lol..:D:D

As much as I have enjoyed this season I saw it perhaps a tad embrrassing to see a civic reception for us to a league, where perhaps should only be a stapping stone. This season has been very important and perhaps the most important for the long while, because it's a genuine reality that moving out of this league should be a step in the right diection.

Are we going up again next season? I think not. But I definitely think we will be closer to the 6th place, than 22nd place.
