Recommended Posts

They have even renamed my old regular the Sheaf on the Frazer estate some silly name I think its renamed the Ale house or something stupid, I don't under stand this renaming thing do they think renaming the thing will make it more busy, crazy what happens to some good old pubs nowadays.

Used to love the Sheaf was it Fraser Rd, come out of there worse for wear a few times :)

Its a few years ago since I called in the sheaf and it was a right dump compared to the old days, I used to live on archer road at the time and it was mods and rockers time I was a rocker and we were always fighting the mods for the pub.

The Albert had to be demolished due to structural damage (finally taking its toll) caused by the Blitz.
