9 ball pool league/series

I am thinking of setting up a 9 ball event in sheffield

 

The format will either be a series of events or a simple league format

 

It is all very early days in terms of organisation

 

But just thought i would put it out there and gague response

Hey, This is on this weekend at Riley's Hunters Bar Sheffield.

 

This weekend, we are running a 9-ball tournament. Saturday the 8th of February. 2:00pm Start. Tables free from 1:00pm. £5 entry fee.

 

Race to 7, finals are race to 9.

 

Winner gets 50% of the pot, runner up gets 25% and the Semi's get 12.5%.

 

If 16 people or more turn up, We will also put £50 into the pot !!!

is the cost of games included or do i need to bring more money to pay for the tables?

and, what time is the tourney likely to finish? i have to go to work later.

Everything is included in that £5 apart from your food and drink

 

Normally if there is enough people turn up. Riley's have been known to leave the tables on all night for free as well for people who enter but we would need at least 16+ people turn up for me to talk to them about leaving the tables on all night for free after the tournament.

Hey no worries dude.

 

We got about 10 people turn up who really enjoyed it and said they are going to get there mates down next time.

 

I will be doing the same again next month which will be 1st March 2014.
