so we have done monsal, we have done tissington where else is fairly flat and a decent ride for a family? including a 6 year old have we exhausted all the easy ones? as we are looking to go out again tomorrow any ideas?

High Peak Trail, see; http://www.peakdistrictcycleways.co.uk/cycle-route.php?route=HPT1

Again, it's all old railways so you don't need gears - although nice weather will help. You don't need to do it all at once as it's quite long for a 6 year old.

A little further away is the Manifold Trail, another old railway, see; http://www.peakdistrictcycleways.co.uk/cycle-route.php?route=Mnfld1

The High Peak Trail can be started from Parsley Hay. It ends at the Cromford Canal, but that includes very steep inclines going down to the Derwent valley.

Middleton Top might be a better place to turn back:-) That would involve going down, and back up, the 1:14 Hopton Incline - a challenge for the young riders to see who had to walk it!
