Cat Poisoning in your local area

Recommended Posts

Idiot

For your information, my cats are housecats and I don't let them crap in other people's gardens, kill the local wildlife or upset the cat-haters by breathing in their vicinity. If anyone needs to get a grip it's you.

How do you manage to control your cat when other people can't?

Genuine question.

Thanks

Do you keep them in all the time or does your vet sell you special little cat nappies ?

Has it also had its teeth taken out and walk on little cat sized boxing gloves ?

You will have to upload a picture of it, I bet its right funny :D

Sorry to bring an old thread back, but found it on an internet search. There are some proper unbelievable people on here. For one, cats are free spirits....you cannot walk a cat, much to the dismay of many. What are people to do...never let animal out to see the sunshine and roam as nature intended? Also, I'd like to remind you that instead of having a go at cat owners, you should be thankful, because your issues with cat poo would be a HELL of a lot worse if the world was full of feral cats. So many uncaring people in one place....Sorry to hear about your cat.

There's no Rat problems in our area and i don't torture or kill animals so what are you talking about

I am really sorry to hear about your cat. Hopefully and quite likely it was accidental. There will without a shadow of a doubt be rats in your area. Rats are in every area unfortunately. We had a rat run through the gardens on our street not long ago. My neighbour caught it with a trap! that's the first time I've ever seen one.

Just a warning to anyone wanting to eradicate a rat, please do not lay down poison, use a trap.

Two reasons; firstly, poison can unintentionally kill other animals as seen in this poor persons case. Secondly, a poised rat will look for somewhere to die, maybe in or under your home. (Unbeknownst to you rotting away making an awful stench and possibly requiring expensive removal resolutions!)

Wow a lot of cat haters on here. I find that people who don't like cats just don't understand them or the difference between cats and dogs. A cat cannot be like a dog because it isn't a dog.

Blackadder: 'Yes, and your definition of "dog" is?'

Baldrick: 'Not a cat.'

I don't have a cat, and I do have some problems with cat poo in my garden, but I understand that cats (unlike dogs) provide benefits to non-cat-owning neighbours by getting rid of rats and mice.

(I did once see someone walking a cat on a lead in France.)
