Sports car insurance help

Hi im wondering if anyone knows a cheap sports car insurance company for someone who is 34 and 7 years no claims.

I have a car in group 20 insurance which ive just bought and im looking for normal quotes if there is such a thing.

We have 2 other cars in the household so wondering what would be a sensible quote.

What car is it and will it be classed as a second car with limited mileage, or is it regarded as a classic?

 

I've always found Swift Cover to be far and away the cheapest when I've insured something sporty (or normal for that matter).

its a mitsubishi evo 5 but ive tryed all the comparison sites and just getting mental quote after another.

Give Chris Knott a call, not sports specialists but they beat everyone else when I had my T5 and that was group 20. I have been with them for years now and they are always considerably cheaper than everyone else.

Your main problem is that your Evo V isn't a group 20 insurance it's more like a group 40 insurance that's why the quotes you are getting are so high. I would avoid the price comparison sites as they inflate their prices as If you ring up you seem to be able to get a better price and they all seem to be similar insurance companies. Maybe try somebody like direct line who aren't on comparison sites or Admiral as they offer a multicar policy.
