Where to get id for 18 year olds

My son had to apply for his provisional driving licence as that and his passport were the only things they seem to accept at clubs and bars.

As truman says id cards are available, they cost around £15.00

 

But

 

If you are ever thinking of learning to drive have you thought about getting a provisional licence, they do cost more £50.00, but if your are going to learn, it will work out cheaper, and most places do take these as id

99% of places wont accept anything other than a passport or driving license, because of all the fake id card you can get off the net.

Nothing works in clubs/bars/pubs apart from provisional licence, driving licence or an IN DATE passport.

Yeah, getting yourself a provisional license (or use one if you have it!) is the best thing to do.

 

 

I wouldn't bother wasting your money on things like the PASS scheme. They are a recognised form of ID, and estbalishments are supposed to accept them and, indeed, quite a few supermarkets/shops do, but if you're thinking of heading to any bars or clubs then you'll probably find yourself standing outside all night.

 

A couple of mates of mine learnt this the hardway...

you can use passport, birth certificate, work i,d driving licence provional

Go to your local Police station tell them your after an ID card. In most Police stations they have forms for applying either for Proof of Age or ID if you get one from there it should be accepted alright the downside is you will have to pay for either card.
