Op must be like me, before committing to anything, even a quote; I like to know if I could possibly afford it.

 

What is the lowest price you have ever done a mid terraced for and the highest price you have ever done a mid terrace for.

This way the Op will have a "Rough" idea on how much the could be looking at.

6-7 hundred quid...

The average rate on brick pointing grinding out properly and repointing is £25 m2 some people will simply point over existing without grinding this will last weeks or months until a frost blows it out. There is also scaffold involved 200-300 each side . Stone is more and if you use lime mortar on stone it increases further.
