GreenyGreen   10 #33 Posted April 20, 2012 Hello again  I've downloaded AVG 2012 but it says the trial will run out in 29 days time. I thought it was free?
 Share this content via...
swarfendor437   14 #34 Posted April 20, 2012 Having just done a search, was quite concerned that AVG's download partner is CNET which was alleged to harbour malware in its downloads a few months back! I would only download freeware from here:  http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/AVG-Free-Edition.shtml  or filehippo.  It's probably pushing for you to buy the 'paid for' version - perhaps there are naggng screens that you can't get rid of in the 'free' version?
