ANGELFIRE1 Â Â 10 #14 Posted April 4, 2012 Have 3 nights in your coal place, laid on the coal without a mattress, it will be much more fun than Cleethorpes, and cheaper as well. Â Angel. md00071 Â Â 10 #15 Posted April 5, 2012 Three good things about Cleethorpes. Â 1. You can get there on the train from just about anywhere. Â 2. You can walk about a mile out to sea without drowning. Â 3. .........come back to you on number 3.
 Share this content via...
BIGDINNERS Â Â 10 #16 Posted April 5, 2012 with regards to what there is to do for 3 days in cleethorpes-basically nothing that cant be done anywhere else, most of the pubs are the same old run down sort which attract to wrong sort of locals,Cleethorpes is actually one of the rougher parts of Grimsby with not a lot going for it. Its got a beach of which the majority is inaccesible when the tides out and theres a theme park which is expensive when its not closed. 1 campsite which is really expensive and overpriced. basically your better off going somewhere else for 3 days(even Mablethorpe) and visiting Cleethorpes for the day, much better value for money:thumbsup:
 Share this content via...

wiz* Â Â 10 #18 Posted April 5, 2012 I did wonder (and wander) about Cleethorpes when I went there on business recently. It seems to be quite run down and on it's last legs. And that's coming from someone who was brought up near Blackpool!
 Share this content via...

al_partridge   10 #21 Posted April 5, 2012 The only purpose that Cleethorpes has ever served for me was a convenient place to dump the wife and my toddler for a few hours whilst I went to watch Wednesday play at Grimsby, therefore I was able to successfully claim that we'd had a proper family day out.
