You can't report a smell of sewage to the Environment Agency.

 

You can report pollution to the river if you see any pollutant or dead fish.

 

A general smell in the area should be reported to the council.

I would imagine its the lack of fresh rain water running into the drains causing the smell.

Slightly off topic, but I don't half miss the smell of the breweries (Whitbread, Ward's, Stones et al) that used to fill the Sheffield air.

Off topic slightly i know but im afraid im totaly stunned by what this thread has just revealed to me.

Ive just been discussing it with a friend of mine. A man ive known all my life. A trusted friend.

Maybe not race, but diet culture can which is often quite specific within a region can affect how a person smells. I read somewhere that due to our diets, the English have a dairy-like odour which is particularly noticeable to people from far-Eastern countries. We wouldn't realise it of course.

 

I don't think the dairy like odour is down to our diets, I think it's something to do with folk not washing their private parts properly.
