mushypeas193 Â Â 10 #39 Posted July 2, 2011 Our lass say's she loves it, it's the only gym she has felt comfortable in. If you need a pool, sauna and hair stylist, you join a health club, if you want to lose weight and gain muscle you join a gym. They are two different things. IMO. Andreiski   10 #40 Posted July 5, 2011 Pure gym is great value for money for what it is. I think the best part of a gym membership is the group fitness classes, they're more motivating
 Share this content via...
Boing   10 #41 Posted August 15, 2011 Does Pure Gym do fitness classes and if so, where? They seem to offer them on the website but the pictures seem to show them squashed in amongst the gym equipment...?
 Share this content via...

They seem to offer them on the website but the pictures seem to show them squashed in amongst the gym equipment...?  There's a wall isolated section for that now since they got it refurbished, probably about 5x12 metres. Dont think that was a good move though as all the weightlifters get penalized by being separated from everyone else.
 Share this content via...

I was thinking of joining too but looking at the standard of grammar on this thread, I am having second thoughts.  Why should the standard of grammar on this thread put you off going to a gym  Is it fitness training you are after or socialising? What kind of people are you trying to avoid may I ask? Please explain as people will think that you are a bit of a snob by reading your post. Leah-Lacie   10 #47 Posted September 4, 2011 Is the parking at Pure Gym free for members??  All I can find online about it is that several of them, not including Sheffield, don't have parking. My partner's cousin has just received a parking fine from them, hes been a member and using the gym and the car park for about 8 months with nothing ever happening before? andy_ Â Â 10 #48 Posted September 9, 2011 What is Pure Gym like at peak times? I'm not renewing at my current gym as it is packed with students after 5. Â I'm just looking to use free weights and a few machines... is there enough equipment? Â Any indication to what are the quietest evenings to go?
