Cowboy Trap on BBC 1

Does anyone watch this on BBC 1 with that big bloke Clive Holland, I always wondered what builders he uses for this show seeing as there are so many odd job men and jobsworths out there it must be a nightmare knowing who to trust and who will not rip you off.

You can not judge a show on how big the main presenter is.

I've watched it in the past but can't stand the presenter. I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but he comes across as thugish and I just don't like him. Can't stand to watch the programme because of him.

Not sure I really like these kind of shows anymore as it means the general public are less and less likely to use their local tradesman. It would be nice to see that some big mistakes were just that a big mistake and the some builders are not out there to rip people off.

In one episode a builder had installed a pull cord for the light in a wet room , this was noted as one of the faults ,in the final scene they showed the completed job and it looked great ,but the light switch was still there.

Its a shame he doesn't confront the cowboy builders in a proper thuggish way, give them a taste of their own medicine.
