Mischievous   10 #77 Posted August 12, 2016 Hi, called in this afternoon as the doors were open when we passed. Looks great, and they seem eager to please. Good luck to all involved.
 Share this content via...
Tess   10 #78 Posted August 13, 2016 Noticed they've got food on too now (sorry if the old one did - it wasn't obvious!) We will definitely be popping in. Best of luck to the place!
 Share this content via...

whiteowl   54 #80 Posted August 14, 2016 Just in here now, waited for the weekend rush to die down. Not the cheapest pub on Woodseats but not too bad. Decor is nice if a bit chainpuby. Randomly they've rung a bell just before 10 so not sure what time they shut on a Sunday. Not eaten here but a 10oz rump steak is 10.95 to give you a rough idea of prices. thestig2004 Â Â 10 #82 Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Not been in yet but I've heard they've done it up well, particularly the beer garden. Also heard the opening night was very busy - a 20 minute wait at the bar and ran out of beer by 8.30. Will go and try it when it's calmed down a bit. bus man   10 #83 Posted August 15, 2016 I've went in Thursday night and eat there last night for first time. Very nicely done nice to have clean toilets and a hand drier that works plus more than two bulbs working in the little room. The lack of seating in there is bad theve lost at least a dozen seats.  Food is pricieier but good, disappointed they had run out of Sunday dinners but it's been manic this weekend so to be expected. Glad to see we now have disabled access etc.  The historic Woodseats map which occupies a whole wall in the back room is of interest - pity most people miss it. Iam not sure what date it is  Upstairs function room very good
 Share this content via...
