Bubble3082 Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Hi Have any of your pets ever really embarrassed themselves and made you crease with laughter? Penny (our JRT x corgi) likes to think she's a big, brave dog. One day we let her out on the garden, but were unaware that there was a cat there. All of a sudden we saw the cat shoot past the door, with Penny hot on its heels. We rushed up to help, but we needn't have worried....seconds later Penny shot past the door with the TINY cat chasing HER. When she skulked in her only injury was her bruised ego
H_Hounds Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 My oldest great dane pretends to be a lady, crosses her paws, wont stand in puddles, constantly cleans herself and the others, tidies her bed up etc but sometimes when she sits, she forces out a loud trump. as she does this she widens her eyes and has a look of horror on her face and if you look at her she slowly looks away she is so funny
Bubble3082 Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 haha Penny does this too but it usually makes her jump All of a sudden she'll dart of the settee and turn round and sniff her bum. Then she'll give you the filthiest look of disgust, as if its you thats done it. Dogs are so daft sometimes
angel22 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I love it when dogs trump and then look around with a confused expression on their face trying to find where the noise came from!
sarahjane Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 My dog is deaf so she just casually trumps (really loud) without batting an eyelid! She has no idea that I've heard her! If I give her the 'I know what you just did!' look, she just casually looks away as if it was nothing to do with her!
Caitlin_E Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 When we had the snow our park turned really icy, my dog was playing around with one of her friends and was running, she fell over on the ice onto her back and went sliding down the path on her back hehe was soo funny
parcher Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 When we got our hall laminated, we had one cat shoot in the cat flap, swiftly followed by another. The idea was they run through the kitchen, in the hall, round a corner and belt up stairs before turning round and doing it all in reverse. On this particular occasion cat 1 shot through the flap, followed by cat 2. Then they hit the laminate in the hall. Cat 1 had legs going every which way but managed to turn the corner and gain the safety of the stairs. Cat 2, however had too much speed (and fluffier feet) to turn the corner and slid full pelt into the front door! The look on their faces was absolutely priceless.
Bubble3082 Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 there are some really funny stories here. Animals are so funny sometimes. My ex bought 2 kittens from the same litter many years ago, and one would always try and suckle from the other, and get really confused when she couldn't get any milk (bearing in mind the other kits teat was about the size of a full stop ). Not so much a funny moment, but definately an 'awww' one
cyb1 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 as some of you may remember ,i got my dog back from thieves who had had her for 2 years and when she came back she was very overweight.. my other 2 dogs go in and out of the garden thro a cat flap (all toy yorkies) well daisy mae didnt like to be stuck in so had a go at going out thro the flap... success going out ....but she came back into the kitchen wearing the cat flap !!!! she is losing the excess weight now !!
ninjafee Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Our cat went walkies once and we found her wandering approximately 2 miles away in our local community centre. We had been there two days prior to her going walkies and she was with us in the car when we had gone there
