warrior8 Â Â 10 #2 Posted February 25, 2012 "Fire engines were called out to Ecclesall Road this morning (Saturday, February 25) and the road blocked and shops forced to close as the brigade dealt with the problem. Â A chunk of Ecclesall Road was blocked off completely, allowing no access or traffic flow through the busy road. Cars span round and took diversions, but it left a stack of buses pulled over waiting for the problem to cease either side of the blokage. Â As the firemen packed away there seemed to be little evidence of anything major, although there was some charred remains of an item on the street in front of Cafe Rouge. The surrounding shops and cafes, including fat face and Mookau were all closed, presumably as precautionary measures. Â Traffic is back to normal now, but bus times may be affected for the rest of the day".
