Angilaruk 10 #1 Posted February 21, 2012 We are the Molyneux Company, the Queens Lifeguard Regiment, of the Sealed Knot, and are holding a weekend event. Consisting of a battle re-enactment of the English Civil War at Hillsborough Park on the 19th & 20th May 2012. This will be a free entry event to the public, and therefore we are expecting lots of people to attend. We're therefore looking for stall holders to “rent pitches”. There are stipulations, and some of these are as follows:- 1. No fast food sales – this includes crisps and drink, we already have this covered exclusively. 2. Sealed & packed food will be allowed – meaning jams, pickes, cheeses, etc are acceptable as they are for consumption elsewhere. 3. The pitch size will be approximately 3m x 3m 4. All gazebos/stalls must meet Sheffield City Council requirements, and be of a minimum standard, and must be of a similar standard to this http://www.instantawnings.co.uk/instant-awnings/instant-awnings-pro-40-range.html The council also has other stipulations which are available on request. But if you've had stalls with the Council before, you will be aware of their needs. There is a limited number of stalls available, and further conditions of renting a pitch, along with the fees etc, are available on request. Please contact Wayne at Molyneuxscoordinator@yahoo.co.uk for further details.
 Share this content via...

Angilaruk 10 #7 Posted March 12, 2012 Hi, yes the gazebos can be expensive, but there must be some people who regularly attend these types of events who do have the correct gazebo's. For us to provide the actual market stalls erected. taken down Saturday, then the same again Sunday as we can't provide security overnight would be close to £1000. Of course this would have to be passed on the the stallholders and the cost then would be to high. Some of the rules are regs are set by the council, and the rest are ours due to safety baring in mind there will be live firing of musket and possibly cannon. Joanne, email me and I will send you the details
 Share this content via...
