vResistance   10 #62 Posted February 23, 2012 Its a wonder that the scrap thieves haven't been and weighed 'em all in.  That would take some effort apparently. Them low lives want easy pickings.  I'm gonna go and have a look one day, maybe I'll connect with my ghost plane vibe thing again. md00071   10 #72 Posted February 25, 2012 An excellent topic! I think I'd definitely would like to visit the B29 site at Bleaklow at some point. Btw, there are quite a few videos on youtube with regards to this site. Here for me is a decent one. It's an amateur video with narration. It's well worth watching the whole video but for the impatient he arrives at the site at approximately 6mins into the video.  PS. and it's a pretty recent upload  This link is from the Youtube channel of Daniel Staniforth from Eckington. I've posted it before, and it really is the full story of this crash site, including the story of the dead pilot's widow's visit to the site only recently. Incidentally, Daniel is a brilliant maker of very watchable videos on the pennines. His yet-to-be-completed Pennine Way series is an evening's viewing in itself. Great spot Buggz.
