Is the bus lane operational at 9 pm?

isn't this a peak time bus lane, and not a 24hr one anyway?

It's a complete stupidity anyway - completely unworkable

just do what everyone else does and use it as a car lane

I have to agree, the layout is crap in the extreme.

Most traffic goes straight up the bus lane. The traffic coming up from Intake bottom is supposed to go into the outside lane, then merge into the left hand lane (where the bus lane goes from the left hand lane into the outside lane outside the shops), but can't because most of the drivers just ignore the start of the bus lane so cut off the merge left point (and tbh I don't blame them otherwise you get a massive queue behind 1 car waiting to turn right at the lights).

Then if you observe the bus lane you can't get back into the right hand lane at the end of it, because every one else has come straight up the bus lane.

So do you get stuck forever, or risk getting a ticket.

It's about time they sorted it out into a more practical layout.
