SUPERDREAM Â Â 10 #7 Posted February 5, 2012 Have you tried Mikes Carpets? Ive seen him do adverts on telly, and although he looks a bit like Peter Stringfellow, he seems a decent bloke. Anyhow, he says on his ad "Get down to Mikes Carpets for a Good Deal" so they must be cheap. Anybody who says that on national TV cant be fibbing, can he? Norseman   10 #11 Posted February 6, 2012 Best place for carpets? On the floor!  Seriously, always read the small print on offers.  In a carpet shop! sorry I could resist that  I've always used Pyramid on Chesterfield Road, you get what you pay for like all things and they offer a free measuring service, friendly staff and I've always thought fair prices too. I once bought a carpet from a cheapo shop on Queens Road I think it was and within a year it started fraying and the pile was getting bare... never again
 Share this content via...
