ndegwa   10 #2 Posted February 5, 2012 Nice sharp image, cats are quite difficult to do at close distances. Your focus seens to be just below the corner of the eye, which has led to the eye being a little soft which should be pin sharp. With cats and eyes generally this close you have to focus on the cats outer eye 'sphere' to get some nice sharp refelctions or just beyond that layer on the area with the iris and colour. Its amazing how much detail there is back there. I have only managed it a couple of times and needed a macro lens to fine tune the focusing.  Oh and any reason this is not in your old thread!
