Works on Woodseats Road railway bridge MEGATHREAD

Recommended Posts

As it is galvanised I strongly suspect thats it , it wont be painted inorder to keep costs down. I much prefered it when it was just the fencing as it looked better and you could see trains better , suspect the clading as been put there to prevent stuff been thrown off the bridge .

Think it's there to stay! It's a crash barrier, no someone who spent years testing them! Only testing tho, they didn't design it!

Anybody know if the new bridge's metalwork is going to be painted or is it just going to be left as bare galvanised metal?

Been over the bridge a few times now and just think it looks weird left as it is as though it's still not finished.

Cheers

Dave.
