To see rugby in Sheffield

most of the rugga in sheffield is amuter, such clubs as SRUFC at abbeydale sports club but i think their 1st team is away, but there is always eiter 2nds and 3rds playing this weekend, Sheffield tigers (dore moor) these are union clubs. The only professional team in sheffield is Sheffield Eagles which is league and they play at sheffield united. Hope this is of help.

Your best bet would have been Sheffield Eagles or Rotherham Titans, however, each of their fixtures don't help you.

 

You could try an amateur team, if you really don't mind watching any game.

Hillsborough Hawks are playing at Hillsborough Arena on Saturday, 2.00 pm kick-off, against Drighlington, in Pennine League 4.

However, Doncaster Knights are at home to Esher and that might be worth a go.

At a professional standard biggest local clubs are:

 

Rugby League - Sheffield Eagles

Rugby Union - Rotherham Titans

 

If you want top flight professional rugby rugby League a bit of a journey but go to Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Castleford, Wakefield

 

Not so much top flight rugby union locally - again a bit of a journey to Sale (Stockport) or Leicester (sometimes tough to get tickets)

 

Start with the local sides though - they'd welcome the support
