Don't have details, but Google might:

Jeff at the Redhouse, Solly Street

Shakespeares, Gibraltar Street

The Hop, West One complex?

The 'Backroom' at the Greystones is a good venue and is used by many bands that used to use the Boardwalk.

Aye i've not been to the Greystones but the name seems to be popping up more and more. The new Limit is looking to band live bands on i think.

In town, West St Live is your best bet I'd say.

Ask for a cocktail called I See Dead People :) It's lethal! :)

Greystones is good... When I used to go to the Boardwalk it was usually to see one of the tribute bands (Rolling Stoned or ac/dc Livewire usually). Rolling Stoned usually play Lomas Hall in Stannington. But I've found a lot of the Pubs and Working Mens Clubs have decent Rock bands on. Plus there's always the Friday rock night at the Bar Abbey.. That's decent.

It's a shame The Greystones hasn't attracted any of those excellent tribute bands that used to go to The boardwalk but it is a much smaller venue.
