Problems with Virgin Media/Ebay 17th January

I can get on here and FB and Gmail. My phone alternates between dead and and engaged tone

The whole internet in the Sheffield area is so slow today!

 

It's working fine for me in S20 (on BT Internet, and most of the time it isn't fine at all!)

 

Clearly there's a large-scale problem of some sort, though; can we work out if it's only affecting customers of one ISP?

I'm on Virgin over here and can't get on Ebay or Sky's website, been off for an hour or so.

Apparently Virgin Media are having some major problems which means customers can't access Ebay, Paypal, Hotmail among others, and also Virgin Media's own site to check the service status.

 

It's also affecting customers nationwide.

Mines down as well only some sites are working. Cant get on hotmail but at least facebook works lol
