Roofer recommendations megathread - NO JOBS, ADVERTISING OR QUOTES

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help ? I care for my dad up at Crimicar Lane and due to the heavy rain today his landing ceiling is dripping ( from a flat roof I think ) .

Can anyone recommend anyone or know anyone that can come and look asap ? Even if it's just a temp job for now would really appreciate it .

Thanks

Any recommendations for leaking roof repairs? There's a small leak in attic - think it's the chimney flashing. Thanks

Mark at Toptile has done great work for us and our friends (we had this exact issue). Prompt, reliable, friendly and affordable.

Paul has just completed three jobs for me.

Renew wooden guttering.

Remove and re-slate our out house ( fitting a new timber which was rotten )

Remove and re-cover our Bay window top.

He quoted for the job the first weekend, I had other quotes but Paul came over as a nice bloke and feedback was good so I set him on. He's done a great job on all 3 counts despite the windy weather that we always get up here. Always cleaned up and removed all rubbish so I have no hesitation in giving him 10/10. Didn't add Paul's full name.

Our upstairs bay window is letting in water from above the window. We're in the S12 area. Any recommendations for someone who could come and see what needs doing and give us a quote would be much appreciated.
